Camp Meeting returns to Tabernacle

The 111th Hartselle Camp Meeting will be conducted at the historic Hartselle Tabernacle south of town Friday to Friday, June 18-25.
Daily activities will consist of breakfast, student morning watch, Kid’s World, morning worship, lunch, recreation/free time,  supper, student Bible story, kid’s arts and crafts, choir practice, evening worship, canteen and student devotional.
“Our facilities have never been better, and we have a wonderful lineup of speakers and workers for our encampment,” said Rob Cain, senior pastor of The Lighthouse in Tuscaloosa and president of the Hartselle Camp Meeting Association. “We invite everyone to come out and share in the exciting and uplifting programming we have planned for both children and adults throughout the week.”
Camp evangelists will be John Burnett, a United Methodist evangelist from Midland, Texas and Milan Dekich, senior pastor of Fairview Church of God near Falkville.
Cain will serve as student director. Rex Looney, minister of music at CrossPointe Church in Madison,  will conduct the music ministry and Brooke Hart of The Vine Fellowship in Arlington, Texas will serve as children’s director.  Wendell Rovenstine, a member of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, will serve as camp missionary.
Special guest speakers will be Junior Hill of Hartselle, a Southern Baptist evangelist and author, and Phil Waldrep of Trinity, an evangelist and author. Hill will speak June 22 at 7 p.m. and Waldrep will speak June 23, at 7 p.m.
Hartselle Camp Meeting Association is a non-denominational, non-profit organization that is totally dependent on freewill offerings by its members and attendees.
