Funeral for Charles Curtis Tudor, 72, of Hartselle was Sun., April 25, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Wendell Callahan and Chris Byrd officiating.
Burial was in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
Mr. Tudor died Thur., April 22, 2010, at Hanceville Health and Rehab. He was born July 13, 1937, in Tenn. to Landon Russell Tudor Sr. and Elsie Elliott Tudor. He served in the U.S. Marines and the U.S. Army. He was a member of Community Baptist Church in Hixson, Tenn. After living most of his life in Tenn. he moved to Alabama where he enjoyed his retirement spending time with family and friends, especially his four grandchildren. Although most of his relatives were from Tenn. he loved his extended family in Alabama. He had a friend who was like a brother, Larry Anderson of Sun City, Ariz.
He is survived by his wife, Paulette Tudor; a son, Greg Nicholson and wife Pam of Hartselle; four brothers, Ralph Tudor of Hixson, Tenn., Jim Tudor of Acworth, Ga., Russell Tudor of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. and Roger Tudor of Cleveland, Tenn.; a sister, Wanda Kay Kennedy of Chattanooga, Tenn.; and four grandchildren, Julie, Halie, Allie and Isaac.
Pallbearers were nephews.
