Bad check writers have month to pay up

Owe money for a bad check or court fine? Better pay up soon.
Morgan County Worthless Check Unit and Morgan County Restitution Recovery Unit will be rounding up individuals with outstanding warrants during April. Arrests will begin before the end of the month.
Those who have not paid outstanding debts by April 21 are subject to arrest without further notice.
Anyone who has a case with either of those units with the District Attorney’s office should call 351-4740 for information on how to settle their debts.
