Funeral for Joyce Ann Preuitt, 68, of Hartselle was Wednesday, February 3, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jess White officiating.
Burial was in Hartselle City Cemetery.
Mrs. Preuitt died Sunday, January 31, 2010, at Hartselle Medical Center. She was born February 24, 1941, in Lawrence County to Glenn Edward Terry and Stella Sherrill Terry. She was a member of First Assembly of God in Hartselle and was employed at Eddie Preuitt Ford as secretary and office clerk. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved to read, travel and enjoyed her family, especially her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Glenn Terry.
She is survived by her husband, Gene Preuitt of Hartselle; a son, Bobby Terry and wife Laura of Courtland; a daughter, Gina White and husband Brent of Hartselle; two sisters, Sue Bolling of Courtland and Pam Clark of Decatur; and four grandchildren, Josh Terry, Bailee Terry, Taylor White and Jackson White.
Pallbearers were James Preuitt, Kenneth Preuitt, Johnny Preuitt, Eddie Preuitt, Alton Preuitt, Mike Preuitt and Kenneth Bolling.
