Tigers 10th in Raptor Invitational

Three Hartselle wrestlers earned wins at the Raptor Invitational in Brentwood, Tenn. last weekend.
Hartselle finished 10th in the team standings. The Tigers were the only Alabama team to finish in the top 10 of the elite high school tournament.
Senior David Filiatrault finished third in the 171-pound weight class after going 4-1 in the tournament.
His only loss came to Ravenwood’s Cody Stewart.
Filiatrault, who had a pair of pins in the tournament, beat Rossview’s Zach North in the third place match.
Matt Watson went 2-2 for the Tigers after reaching the 119-pound consolation semifinals.
Both of Watson’s losses came to Ravenwood’s Bradley Butters, who went on to finish third overall.
Kyle Lybarger finished 1-2 with a pin at 140 pounds.
Hartselle will return to action this weekend in the Arab Invitational.
