Toy Sublett Mitchell

Funeral for Toy Sublett Mitchell, 87, of Hartselle was Friday, October 2, at 11 a.m., at First Baptist Church of Hartselle with Drs. Ron Wilson and Jeff Redmond officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in Hartselle City Cemetery.
Mrs. Mitchell died Monday, September 28, 2009, at Summerford Nursing Home. She was born September 8, 1922, in Madison County to Pete Sublett and Bertha Berry Sublett. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Hartselle, where she served as church librarian for many years. She was a member of the Hartselle Rainbow Club and the Current Review Club. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Don Mitchell.
She is survived by two sons, Barry Mitchell of Birmingham and Stephen Mitchell and wife Nancy of Albany, Ga.; six grandchildren, Zac Mitchell, Ben Mitchell, Sarah Mitchell Hook, Wyatt Mitchell, Julia Mitchell and Brooks Mitchell; and a great-granddaughter, Emma Grace Mitchell.
Pallbearers were Zac Mitchell, Ben Mitchell, Brooks Mitchell, Jim Stephenson Jr., George Stephenson and Jim Grammer.
