Bernadine Goff Woodard

Funeral for Bernadine Goff Woodard, 79, of Moulton, was Sunday, August 23, at 1:30 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Terry Nappier officiating.
Burial was in Lebanon Cemetery in Falkville.
Mrs. Woodard died Friday, August 21, 2009, at Moulton Healthcare Center.
She was born March 29, 1930, in Illinois to Bernard McGuire Goff and Mary Jane Matkin Goff. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church where she had served for many years as a Sunday School teacher, WMU director, VBS teacher and director. She was retired from the Morgan County Board of Education as a bus driver for more than 20 years. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Carl Woodard, and a son, Garry Nappier.
She is survived by two sons, James Stephen Nappier and wife Caroline of Falkville and Terry Allen Nappier and wife Elaine of Falkville; a daughter, Carol Nappier Edwards and husband Al of Elkton, Kentucky; a brother, Max Goff and wife Ruby of Hartselle; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Grandsons served as pallbearers.
