Funeral for Charles McLemore, 80, of Danville was Sat., Feb. 14, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Francis Proctor officiating.
Burial was in Johnson Chapel Cemetery.
Mr. McLemore died Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2009, at Hartselle Medical Center. He was born October 16, 1928, in Lawrence County to Gaynom P. McLemore and Bertie McLemore. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie McLemore; a brother, Chamus McLemore; a sister, Grace Gillespie; and his parents.
He is survived by two sons, Damion McLemore and wife Deborah and Bryan McLemore and wife Pam, all of Danville; three daughters, Debra Mote and husband Carl and Sandra Prater and husband Tony, all of Moulton and Annette Hyde and husband Jeff; two brothers, Kenneth McLemore and Ray McLemore both of Danville; three sisters, Nelda Gillespie and Doris Kelsoe, both of Danville and Leneva Lackey of Moulton; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Mark McLemore, Keith McLemore, Chad Mote, Joe Hyde, Eddie Lackey and Dwight Lackey.
