Vida Mae Chandler

Funeral for Vida Mae Chandler, 85, of Hartselle was Saturday, Dec. 13, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bill Hall officiating.
Burial was in Herring Cemetery.
Mrs. Chandler died Thursday, Dec. 11, 2008, at her residence. She was born Sept. 6, 1923, in Morgan County to Edgar Marvin Hardin and Katie Lou Minter Hardin. She was retired from South Central Bell where she worked as a telephone operator. She was a member of Westview Church of Christ and was preceded in death by her husband, Lerman Hersley Chandler.
She is survived by a son, Donald Chandler and wife Sang of Hartselle; a daughter, Wanda Ferguson and husband Byron of Hartselle; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
