Earleen Mizell Plemons

Funeral for Earleen Mizell Plemons, 90, of Hartselle was be Saturday, Dec. 13, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Harold Thompson officiating.
Burial was in Hartselle Memory Gardens.
Mrs. Plemons died Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2008, at her residence. She was born Dec. 1, 1918, in Lawrence County to Esther Mizell and Lula Standridge Mizell. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Hartselle. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Louis Plemons; and a son, Anthony Dale Plemons.
She is survived by a son, John Plemons and wife Donna of Decatur; two daughers, Brenda Young of Hartselle and Valerie Leader and husband Jack of Helena; a brother, Wayne Mizell; three sisters, Liddie Redding, Brenda Ivy and Inez Reid; six grandchildren, Clay Plemons, Denise Everett, Darlene Rodgers, Ashley Leader, Bethany Leader and Sareta Clinton; and six great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Gerald Yeager, Joe Garrison, Eddie Rose, Jerry L. Smith, Tim Smith and Mark Mizell.
Memorials may be made to AlaCare Hospice.
