Funeral for Sarah Mable Johnson, 89, of Somerville was Friday, Sept. 5, at 2 p.m. at Center Springs United Methodist Church with Bro. Steve Pilkington officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in the adjoining cemetery.
Mrs. Johnson died Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2008, at her residence. She was a member of Center Springs United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Randolph Johnson.
She is survived by three sons, Flavous R. Johnson and wife Jean, Meredith L. Johnson and Don A. Johnson and wife Shirley, all of Somerville; a daughter, Emma Faye Cox of Somerville; two granddaughters, Kristi Alexander and husband Tim and Kelly Fishburne and husband Eddie; five grandsons, Andy Johnson and wife Kara, Jason Johnson and wife Ariana, Terry Johnson and wife Lisa, Forrest Johnson and wife Lori and Mac Cox; and four great-grandchildren, Patrick Johnson, Roman Maxwell, Amber Johnson and Ella Grace Johnson. Grandsons and a great-grandson were pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Center Springs United Methodist Church or a favorite charity.
