Thomas C. Hilinski

Thomas C. Hilinski, 69, of Hartselle, formerly of Erie, Pa. died Saturday, July 26, 2008, at Cullman Regional Medical Center.
Visitation was Tuesday, July 29, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel.
Mr. Hilinski was born July 27, 1938, in Erie, Pa. to Casimir Kosty Hilinski and Frances Delores Kownacki Hilinski. He was a Catholic, a U.S.Marine Corps veteran and a private pilot. He was retired from the MITRE Corporation in 1997 where he worked as an electrical engineer. He held a masters degree in electrical engineering and was a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Hilinski of Hartselle; a son, Timothy Mark Hilinski of Richmond, Va.; a daughter, Karen Elizabeth Hilinski of Richmond, Va.; a stepdaughter, Tina Kaye Holder of Rome, Ga.; two brothers, Carl Hilinski of Virginia and Stan Hilinski of Laurel, Md; and three grandchildren, Amanda, Gracie and Thomas Jordan.
The family requests that contributions be made to Habitat for Humanity.
