Funeral for Jackie Wayne Borden, 52, of Elkmont, formerly of Priceville, was Sunday, Feb. 17, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bishop Buell Bennett officiating.
Burial was in Valhermoso Holiness Cemetery.
Mrs. Borden died Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2008, at his residence. He was born May 15, 1955, in Lawrence County to Floyd Borden and Allie Morgan Borden.
He is survived by his long time love, Wanda Borden of Athens; a daughter, Morgan Borden of Madison; four brothers, Roger Borden and wife Donna of Moulton, Stanley Borden and wife Charlotte of Priceville, Donald Borden and wife Charlotte of Decatur and Thomas Borden and wife Pat of Falkville; five sisters, Brenda James and husband Wiley and Deborah James and husband Garland, all of Falkville, Carolyn Cottingham and husband Cliff of Decatur, Mary Miller of Athens and Clara Lang of Madison; and a special niece, Abbi Self.
