Funeral for Verna Mae Durnil, 71, of Hartselle was Saturday, Sept. 22, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jess White officiating.
Burial was in McKendree Cemetery.
Mrs. Durnil died Monday, Sept. 17, 2007, at Memorial Hospital in South Bend, Ind. She was born June 19, 1936, in Morgan County to James Kyker and Coga Paris Kyker.
She is survived by three sons, Eddie Harris of Greenfield Wis., Steve Harris of South Bend, Ind. and James Harris of Plymouth, Ind.; a stepson, Kenneth William Durnil of Plymouth, Ind.; three stepdaughters, Joyce Taylor of Kingsford Heights, Ind., Darlene Dumie of South Bend, Ind, and Vickie Orszuiak of La Porte, Ind.; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Ed Harris, Steve Harris, Jimmy Legg, Josh Larson, Enrique Burga and John Paul Harris.
