Funeral for Guy Mack Cook Jr., 67, of Danville was Saturday, Aug. 25, at 10 a.m at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Smith officiating.
Burial was in Bethlehem Cemetery.
Mr. Cook died Thursday, Aug. 23, 2007, at Hartselle Medical Center. He was born Jan. 9, 1940, in Mississippi to Guy Mack Cook Sr. and Louise Oglesby Cook. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was preceded in death by two sisters.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret Ann Cook of Danville, two sons, Guy Mack Cook III and Mark Dewayne Cook, both of Danville; two daughters, Edna Elaine Cook Farley of Carbondale, Ill. and April Ann Cook Denson of Hartselle; two brothers, George Edward Cook of Clarksdale, Miss. and Ricky Lee Cook of Tupelo, Miss.; three sisters, Barbara Ann Willard of Sardis, Miss. and Patsy Jean Roberson and Donna Faye Roberson, both of Tupelo; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Chuck Keenum, Josh Cook, Roger Farley, Anthony Wells, Jeff Dutton and Jimmy Hardin.
Honorary pallbearers were Ricky Denson, Travis Cook and A. J. Brown.
