John Albert Stephenson

Funeral for John Albert Stephenson, 67, of Falkville was Thursday, Sept. 28, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dewitt Crowe officiating.
Burial was in Hopewell Cemetery.
Mr. Stephenson died Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2006, at Falkville Healthcare Center. He was born Oct. 1, 1938, in Morgan County to William Claude Stephenson and Lizzie Lee Stockton Stephenson. He was a deacon and Sunday school teacher at Hopewell Baptist Church. He attended Tennessee Valley Trade School and was owner of a jewelry store in Hartselle for many years.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Leon Stephenson; and four sisters, Reba Brown, Vivian Suggs, Martha Brown and Claudette Stephenson.
He is survived by three sisters, Sara Aldridge of Danville and Peggy Webster and Wanda Mullins, both of Hartselle.
Pallbearers were nephews.
Honorary pallbearers were classmates of the Danville High School Class of 1956.
