Weddings and Engagements

Lusk, Bremmerman to wed
Randy and Sharion Lusk of Hartselle announce the engagement of their daughter, Bethany Renae Lusk, to Phillip Lyle Bremmerman, son of Larry and Cathy Bremmerman of Hayden.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Hartselle High School and The University of Alabama where she was a member of Phi Mu Sorority. She is a member of Alpha Zeta Alumni Chapter and is employed with UAB Health Systems.
She is the granddaughter of Harry and Edna Lusk of Sylacauga, the late Waldon Casey Blythe, the late Glenda Blythe Edwards, and the late John Thomas Edwards.
The groom-elect is a graduate of Hayden High School and Wallace State Community College. He is employed with UAB Health Systems. He is the grandson of Edith Bremmerman and Sue Warden of Hayden, the late William Bremmerman and the late J.C. Warden.
He is the great grandson of Orel Hays of Hayden.
The wedding will be Oct. 28 at 6 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Hartselle.
Dickerson, Flowers to wed Nov. 3
Earl and Marty Dickerson of Hartselle announce the engagement of their daughter, Linsey Blair to William David Flowers, son of Carl and Melissa Flowers of Hartselle.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Ralph and Myrtle Thompson of Hartselle, Eunice Dickerson and the late Levan Dickerson of Pickens, Miss.
She is a graduate of Hartselle High School and the Cosmetology and Massage Therapy Institute. She is employed by Daniel Piper Salon in Decatur and Body and Balance.
The groom-elect is the grandson of William and Linda McKee of Decatur. He is a graduate of Hartselle High School and attends the University of North Alabama. He is employed by Bradley Street Tile in Decatur.
The wedding is planned for Nov. 3 at the First State Bank in Decatur.
LaChance, Henry to wed
Mr. and Mrs. David LaChance of Decatur announce the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer LaChance, to Brian Henry, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Henry of Decatur.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Brewer High School and Auburn University Montgomery with a bachelor’s degree in sociology. She is employed with the Morgan County Department of Human Resources as a social service caseworker. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Numa LaChance and the late Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Miller. The groom-elect is a graduate of Decatur High School and Auburn University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. He is employed with New Vision at Hartselle Medical Center as the intake coordinator. He is the grandson of Mrs. Charles E. Henry of Decatur, the late Mr. Charles Henry, and the late Mr. and Mrs. John Edward Farley.
The wedding will be Oct. 7 at 2 p.m. at First United Methodist Church of Decatur.
Whatley, Aldridge wed in Cullman
Kelly Rene/ Whatley of Hartselle and Brett Byron Aldridge of Pensacola, Fla. were wed June 24, 2006, at 1 p.m. at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Cullman with the Rev. Henry McDaid officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Todd Whatley of Hartselle. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Stuart Snyder of Pensacola, Fla.
The church was adorned with two large urns of white and cream silk flowers. Flanking the altar were two Boston ferns elevated on white wicker pedestals.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a formal gown of diamond white duchess satin accented with silver metallic embroidery. The strapless gown was fashioned with a scrolling pattern of hand embroidery of silver that cascaded over the waistline onto the soft A-line skirt. A carriage back, also beautifully embroidered, fell to a cathedral length train. Her veil was diamond white and trimmed in satin.
The bride carried a clutch bouquet of vendela roses, cream alstomeria and cream calla lilies wrapped with French chiffon and satin ribbon.
Amy Armstrong Whatley, sister-in-law of the bride, of Birmingham was matron of honor.
Bridal attendants were Lindsey Staudt, cousin of the bride, of Hartselle, Leslie Ann Aldridge, sister of the groom, of Washington, D.C., Stephenie Elmore of Columbus, Miss., Jamie Kelley of Clinton, Miss., and Mandy Adams of Jackson, Miss.
Junior bridal attendant was Mary Katheryn Snyder, sister of the groom, of Pensacola, Fla.
They wore matching gowns of autumn gold duchess satin. The strapless gowns were fashioned with a shirred natural waistline and soft A-line skirt.
Annie Snyder, sister of the groom, of Pensacola, Fla. was flower girl. Paul Snyder, brother of the groom, of Pensacola, Fla. was ring bearer.
Jason Aldridge, brother of the groom, of Santa Rosa Beach, Fla. was best man.
Groomsmen were Beau Aldridge, brother of the groom, of Atlanta, Richard Turner and Daniel Whatley, brother of the bride, both of Birmingham, and Patrick Whatley and Clay Whatley, brothers of the bride, both of Hartselle.
Groomsmen also served as ushers.
Joseph Snyder, brother of the groom, of Pensacola, Fla. was altar server.
Scripture readers were Maureen Lee of Waterville, Maine, Edie Holstein of Pensacola, Fla. and Mary Keyer of Louisville, Ky.
Music was provided by vocalists Maureen and Kim Redler, Kris Staudt and Kat Millione; quartet vocalists Todd Whatley, Don Kyle, Jamie Gauthier and Larry Littleton; pianist Paulette Carulo; organist Sister Mary Vincent Beckman; and trumpeter Barry Stoner.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Wind Brook Estates of Cullman.
Tamra Medders of Springville, Mary Lynn Gatterdam and Audrey Daigle, both of Pensacola, Fla. assisted with the reception.
Kris Staudt of Hartselle was wedding director.
Leslie Clement and Kate Lassandrello, both of Memphis, Tenn., attended the bride’s book.
Bell ringers were Samantha, Abbie and Grace Drake, cousins of the bride, all of Hartselle.
The couple honeymooned in Ocho Rios, Jamaica at the Sandals Resort. They reside in Starkville, Miss.
A rehearsal party hosted by the groom’s parents was held June 23 at Terri Pines Country Club of Cullman.
A bridal luncheon hosted by Mary Keyer of Louisville, Ky. and Mary Jo Karre of Memphis, Tenn. was held June 23 at The Oden House Cottage of Hartselle.
A skeet shoot for groomsmen and family was held June 23 at the Hartselle home of Mr. and Mrs. Chris Keenum, hosted by the groom.
