Through the AVL, an equitable core of information sources are available to every student and citizen in Alabama, raising the level of excellence in schools and communities across the state.
The Alabama Public Library Service also offers free, live, online homework assistance with subject specialists at www.homeworkalabama.org. The service is available daily 3 p.m.-midnight. Free tutoring is offered for math, science, social studies and English for grades fourth through 12th and college introduction classes.
