Three face variety of drug charges

Three men were arrested at a Hartselle home last week, each facing various narcotics charges.
Agents with the Morgan County Drug Task Force searched the home of Michael Lane Kovar of 311 Byrd Springs Road in Hartselle last week. Agents found narcotics including methamphetamine, Ecstacy, Valium, Xanax, marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Agents also found drug records, 21 guns with ammunition and some $2,200. Kovar and two others were arrested.
Kovar, 38, was charged with unlawful possession of methamphetamine, unlawful possession of Ecstacy, unlawful possession of Valium, possession of marijuana in the second degree and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Kovar's bond was set at $4,000.
Jimmy Ray Marsh, 32, of 135 County Road 1534 in Cullman was charged with unlawful possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. His bond was set at $1,500.
Justin Cody Whisenant, 21, of 226 County Road 522 in Trinity, faces charges of unlawful possession of Xanax. His bond was set at $1,000.
