Bryant, Hodges exchange vows
Chasity Bryant of Hartselle and Shane Hodges of Waverly, Tenn. were wed Saturday, May 13, 2006, at 7 p.m. at Burningtree Country Club with the Rev. Bill Partridge officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Scott and Diane Bryant of Danville and Terri Hayes of Vinemont.
She is the granddaughter of Paul and Toni Bryant of Danville, Gayle and James Hayes of Hartselle, and the late Mary Bryant.
The groom is the son of Teresa Choate of Waverly, Tenn. and Freddie Beavers of Knoxville, Tenn. He is the grandson of Bob Choate and Jane Cobb, both of Waverly, Tenn.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a gown designed by Diane Bryant of Diane's Originals. The strapless gown of white satin was topped off with pearls and crystals. Terah Alexander of Decatur was maid of honor.
Bridal attendants were Andrea Jackson and Kristi Bryant, both of Nashville, Tenn., Danyelle Holmes of Decatur, and Emily Davis of Athens. They wore gowns designed by Diane Bryant of Diane's Originals.
Molly Whitfield of Waverly, Tenn. was flower girl. Keaton Bryant Mullins of Danville was ring bearer.
Frank Murrell of Waverly, Tenn. was best man.
Groomsmen were Matt Bryant of Hartselle, Tim Lee, Joe Choate and Clint Bailey, all of Waverly, Tenn.
Music was provided by Kimber Shaye Reeves.
The couple will reside in Waverly, Tenn.

White, Blackwood wed
Kyla Lee White of Decatur and Houston Bryant Blackwood of Hartselle were wed Saturday, June 17, 2006, at 6 p.m. at Colby Hall on the campus of the University of North Alabama with the Rev. Brent Colee of Hartselle officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Kim White of Decatur and Steve White of Hartselle. The groom is the son of Tony and Janet Blackwood and Myra Blackwood, all of Hartselle.
The church, decorated by Lani Collier of Athens, featured brightly colored Gerber daisies and greenery.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a strapless A-line dress that featured pearls on the bodice and train. Her veil was adorned with sparkles.
She carried a bouquet of pink and Gerber daisies.
Aubrey Carpenter of Birmingham was maid of honor.
Bridal attendants were Erica Bagley and Wendi Drace, both of Birmingham, Shelly Brenenstall and Sarah Pigg, both of Decatur, Tara Cooper of Moulton, Kandice Delashaw of Trinity, Catherine Hellums of Red Bay, Crystal Voss of Hillsboro, and Anna Hotz of Corinth, Miss.
They wore pink, strapless, tea-length dress and carried bouquets of assorted Gerber daisies.
Caleigh Duncan of Decatur and Ivy Proctor of Moulton were flower girls. Benjamin Johnson and Grant Johnson, both of Florence, were ring bearers.
The groom's father was best man.
Groomsmen were Cody White of Decatur, brother of the bride, Chuck Gill and Ryan McKelvey, both of Hartselle, Blake Brown of Athens, Brad Davis of Hamilton, James Marshall of Birmingham, Justin Sizemore of Florence, Blakely Williams of Tupelo, Miss., and Joe Wooley of Georgia.
Groomsmen served as ushers.
Music was provided by Chris Thompson and vocalist Lauren Stroud.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the Keynote Room.
The bride's table featured a white cake with white icing and pink polka dots. The table honored the bride's twin brother who is serving in the U.S. Army.
The groom's table featured a chocolate cake adorned with his college fraternity symbol.
Joanne Medendorp was wedding director.
Jada White of Decatur and Bailee Williams of Hartselle attended the bride's book.
The couple honeymooned in Cozumel, Mexico. They reside in Hartselle.
A rehearsal party hosted by the groom's parents was held June 16 at Red Lobster.
A bridal luncheon hosted by the bride and her mother was held at the Holiday Inn of Decatur.
