W. H. 'Bill' Montgomery

Funeral for W. H. "Bill" Montgomery of Huntsville, formerly of Florette, will be Thursday (today), July 6, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Paul Clements and Don Cox officiating.
Burial will be in Mt. Tabor Cemetery.
Mr. Montgomery died Tuesday, July 4, 2006, at Huntsville Hospital. He was born April 24, 1913, in White County, Tenn. to J. H. Montgomery and Nannie Campbell Montgomery. He was retired from the Morgan County Commission as a mechanic. He was a longtime member of Florette Church of Christ and moved to Huntsville where he and his wife were worshiping at the Farley Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son,William "Willie" Montgomery.
He is survived by his wife, Pearline Montgomery of Huntsville; a son, Phillip Ray Montgomery and wife Rachel of Mississippi; a daughter, Brenda Presnell and husband Leo of Athens; a sister, Mary Worthy of Harvest; six grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.
Grandchildren Phillip Ray Montgomery Jr., William Montgomery, John Vance, Brad Vance, Shaun Garner and Tyler Wilson will be pallbearers.
Great-grandchildren Robin Garner and Heather Garner will be honorary pallbearers.
