Funeral for Evelyn Brown Johnson 74, of Decatur was Wednesday, June 28, at 4 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Melvin Hunter officiating.
Burial was in Pine Grove Cemetery in Lawrence County.
Mrs. Johnson died Monday, June 26, 2006, at Parkway Medical Center. She was born July 16, 1931, in Morgan County to William Cleveland Brown and Elsie Elizabeth Morgan Brown. She was a member of Pine Grove Holy Church of Christ and was preceded in death by her husband, Audrey Johnson, and a daughter, Dana Duke.
She is survived by a brother, Wendell Brown and wife Faye of Jerome, Idaho; and three sisters, Brenda Madison of Adamsville, Glayetta Hardin of Shelbyville, Tenn. and Vonda Hunter of Falkville.
