Hinkle, James to wed July 15
Sonya Hinkle and Danny James, both formerly of Danville, announce their engagement.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Frank Hinkle of Danville and the late Flora Hinkle. She is the granddaughter of the late Robert and Addie Coleman and the late Edith Hinkle. She is a 1994 graduate of Athens State College with a bachelor's degree in elementary education. She is employed with Somerville Elementary School in Somerville, Tenn., as a teacher.
The groom-elect is the son of the late Bobby and Barbara James.
He is the grandson of Edith Harvey of Danville, the late Dan Harvey and the late Judson and Emma James. He is a 1993 graduate of Danville High School and a 1996 graduate of Auburn University with a bachelor's degree in industrial design. He is employed with Thomas &Betts of Memphis, Tenn.
The wedding will be July 15 at 4 p.m. at Danville Baptist Church.
Jansen, Flowers to wed
Beverly Jansen of Hartselle and Russell Jansen of Chattanooga, Tenn. announce the engagement of their daughter, Erin Elizabeth Jansen, to William Thomas Flowers, son of Mr. and Mrs. William B. Flowers Jr. of Tuscaloosa. The bride-elect is a graduate of Hartselle High School and a graduate of the University of North Alabama with bachelor's and master's degrees in elementary education. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. and Mrs. Eugene Hafner of Timonium, Md., the late Emma J. Cates and the late Edward W. Jansen Sr.
The groom-elect is a graduate of Winfield High School and The University of Alabama with a bachelor's degree in elementary education. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. William B. Flowers Sr. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Bashford.
They are both employed with University Place Elementary.
The wedding will be July 15 at Forest Lake United Methodist Church in Tuscaloosa.
Roberts, Randolph to wed
Joe Mark and Rita Roberts of Hartselle announce the engagement of their daughter, Cara Faye Roberts, to Thomas Kurt Randolph, son of Jerry and Karen Randolph of Danville.
The bride-elect is a 2001 graduate of Hartselle High School and a 2005 graduate of Athens State University with a bachelor's degree in business administration. She is employed with Sonoco Products Company.
She is the granddaughter of Clifton and Dena Faye Hensley and Palmer and Merle Osborn, all of Hartselle, and the late Joe Roberts.
The groom-elect is a 1997 graduate of Danville High School and a 2001 graduate of Auburn University with a bachelor's degree in agri science education.
He is self-employed. He is the grandson of Donald Wallace of Danville, the late Mary Wallace, and the late Leon and Ruth Randolph.
The wedding will be Aug. 19 at West Hartselle Baptist Church.
