Funeral for Audie L. Mayo, 74, of Falkville was Wednesday, June 14, at 2 p.m. at Hill Top Church of God with Bro. F. M. Head and Pastor Randy Booth officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in Hill Top Church of God Cemetery.
Mrs. Mayo died Sunday, June 11, 2006, at her residence. She was born Aug. 26, 1931, in Cullman County to Thomas "Tom" Widner and Lula Mae "Briscoe" Widner. She was a member of Hill Top Church of God. She was a loving wife and mother. Her great-grandchild, Brittany Brown, preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband, Troy Mayo; one son, Larry Mayo of Falkville; four daughters, Chiquita Moore and husband Ray, Kathy Mayo, Bonnie Johnson and Connie Morris, all of Falkville; a brother, Dewitt Widner of Falkville; a sister, Clara Fowler of Eva; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Jeremy Horton, Randell Morris, Josh Mayo, Stevie McCright, Russell McCright and Alvin Widner.
