Ruby Hazel Morris

Funeral for Ruby Hazel Morris, 75, of Hartselle was Monday, May 29, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Jamie Suggs and Wendell Callahan officiating.
Burial was in Johnson Chapel Cemetery.
Mrs. Morris died Saturday, May 27, 2006, at her residence. She was born March 19, 1931, in Morgan County to William Andrew May and Susie Ann Porter May. She was a homemaker and a member of Andrews Chapel Church.
She is survived by five sons, John McDonald and Billy McDonald, both of Hartselle, Ed Morris of Danville, Bruce McDonald of Decatur and Jerry McDonald of Athens; four daughters, Linda McCay of Neel, Francis Ann George of Toney, Mary Jane McDonald and Jannette Steeples, both of Decatur; two brothers, Toby May of Decatur and James May of Hartselle; two sisters, Shirley Harris of Decatur and Joyce Wilhite of Hartselle; 17 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were James Pressley, Keith Caldwell, Brandon Smith, Matt Bryant, Chad Bryant and Steven Henry.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
