Funeral for Arthur Lyle Roberts, 46, of Hartselle was Friday, May 26, at 2 p.m. at West Hartselle Baptist Church with Dr. Ron Wilson and the Rev. Jack Redfearn officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in Hartselle City Cemetery.
Mr. Roberts died Wednesday, May 24, 2006, at his residence. He was born Sept. 8, 1959, in Morgan County to Arthur Joe Roberts and Merle Roberts Burchell Osborn. He was a fireman for the City of Decatur and a member of West Hartselle Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Joe Roberts and a sister, Marilyn Roberts Jeffreys.
He is survived by two sons, Jacob Roberts and Josh Roberts, both of Falkville; a daughter, Johanna Roberts of Falkville; his mother, Merle Roberts Burchell Osborn of Hartselle; his stepfather, Palmer Osborn of Hartselle; a brother, Joe Mark Roberts of Hartselle; and a grandchild, Alexis Roberts.
Pallbearers were Jacob Roberts, Ivan Halbrooks, Jim Burchell, Charlie Prince, Sherman Powell Jr., and Josh Roberts.
