Reeder, Savage exchange vows
Amanda Elizabeth Reeder of Hartselle and Jonathan Glenn Savage of Auburn were wed Saturday, May 20, 2006, at 4 p.m. at the home of Mr. and Mrs. David Burleson with Jim Brinkerhoff officiating.
The bride is the daughter of James and Cindy Reeder of Hartselle.
The groom is the son of Glenn and Francie Savage of Alabaster.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, chose a formal gown of diamond white duchess satin. The strapless gown was fashioned with an intricate pattern of platinum beaded embroidery at the neckline. The molded bodice fell to an elongated waist, also detailed with beaded embroidery.
The soft A-line skirt was encircled with embroidery and swept to a semi-cathedral train. Her fingertip veil was edged with matching embroidery and fell from a comb that featured enameled star flowers and leaves accented with pearls, crystals and silver rocaille beads.
Amy McElroy of Tallassee was maid of honor.
Bridal attendants were Jessica Wallace and LeAnna Lipsey, both of Hartselle, and Wendy Bowling, sister of the groom, of Nashville, Tenn. The maid of honor and bridal attendants wore matching tea length gowns of coral organza. The strapless gowns were fashioned with a ribbon of starlight satin at the waistline. A wide band of starlight organza graced the hemlines.
Hudson Lee Fisher of Centerton, Ark., was flower girl. Parker Bowling, nephew of the groom, of Nashville, Tenn., was ring bearer.
The groom's father and brother, Matt Savage of Memphis, Tenn., were best men.
Groomsmen were Blair Reeder, brother of the bride, of Atlanta and Joe Seals of Birmingham.
Ushers were Chris Kearns and Travis Pigg, both of Auburn, and Nathan Martin of Dothan.
A reception was held at the Burleson's home following the ceremony.
Julie Sneed was wedding director. Beverly Summerford, Sonie Wilson, Sandra Smelser, Donna Glenn, Brenda Peppers, Sonya Reeder and Jean Reeder assisted with the reception.
Lindsey Staudt and Christina Young, both of Hartselle, attended the bride's book.
The couple honeymooned in Honolulu, Hawaii. They will reside in Auburn.
A rehearsal party hosted by the groom's parents was held May 19 at Giovanni's Italian Grill.

Floyd, Williams to wed Nov. 11
Mr. and Mrs. Doug and Lisa Floyd of Bowling Green, Ky., announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashley Leighanne Floyd of Hartselle, to James "Lee" Williams Jr. of Vestavia Hills, son of Mr. and Mrs. James L. "Butch" Sr. and Charlotte Williams of Vestavia Hills.
The bride-elect is a 2001 graduate of Hartselle High School and Samford University with a bachelor's degree in psychology. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Whitlock of Moulton, Majorie Rutherford of Decatur, Mozelle Haywood of Columbia, Tenn., and the late Howard Floyd.
The groom-elect is a 2001 graduate of Vestavia Hills High School and Birmingham-Southern College with a bachelor's of business administration degree in business. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence T. Williams of St. Simons Island, Ga., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles F. Williams.
The wedding will be Nov. 11 at Canterbury United Methodist Church of Birmingham.
