Marion Hubert Lawrence

Funeral for Marion Hubert Lawrence, 84, of Hartselle was Tuesday, May 23, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Walter Jury officiating.
Burial was in Mt. Tabor Cemetery.
Mr. Lawrence died Saturday, May 20, 2006, at Decatur General Hospital. He was born Oct. 17, 1921, in Morgan County to Wesley Asberry Lawrence and Ellen Anders Lawrence. He was preceded in death by his parents and five brothers, Brasher Lawrence, Gurney Lawrence, Melvin Lawrence, Lelton Lawrence and Hobert Lawrence. He was retired from United Stage Equipment Co. where he worked as a welder and machinist. He was an active member of Mt. Tabor Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth Hampton Lawrence of Hartselle; a son, Denny Hreyo Lawrence and wife Cathy of Hartselle; a daughter, Sandra Lawrence Vinzant and husband Kenith of Hartselle; a sister, Sally L. Prince Smith of Hartselle; three grandchildren, Jason Vinzant, Tiffany Lawrence Johnson and Craig Lawrence; and four great grandchildren.
Grandsons and nephews were pallbearers.
