Brown, Gilliland to wed
Mickey and Rhonda Brown of Falkville announce the engagement of their daughter, Tonya Kay Brown, to Donovan "Bubba" Blake Gilliland, son of Bobby and Shelaine Gilliland of Cullman.
The bride-elect is a 2003 graduate of Falkville High School and a 2004 graduate of Alabama Business College of Cosmetology.
She is employed with Smart Styles of Hartselle. She is the granddaughter of Ilene Brown of Falkville, Jean Slaten of Decatur, the late Charles Brown and the late Frank Slaten.
The groom-elect is 2004 graduate of American Home School. He is employed with Morgan County District 2. He is the grandson of Thelma Aldridge and Mr. and Mrs. H.E. Gilliland, all of Cullman, the late Raymond Aldridge and the late Ruth Gilliland.
The wedding will be held June 23 at Quail Creek Golf Course.
Formby, McKee to wed
Phillip and Gaye Roberts and David Formby, all of Centre, announce the engagement of their daughter, Beverly Nicole Formby, to James Case McKee, son of Steve and Susan McKee of Hartselle.
The bride-elect is a 1999 graduate of Cherokee County High School and a recent graduate of Auburn University with a doctorate of pharmacy degree. She has accepted a position with CVS Pharmacy of Birmingham.
She is the granddaughter of Sara Formby and Betty Roberts, both of Centre, the late Charles Formby, the late Jack Roberts, and the late Norman and Peggy Stimpson.
The groom-elect is a 1997 graduate of Hartselle High School and a 2005 graduate of Auburn University with a doctorate of pharmacy degree.
He is employed with CVS Pharmacy of Birmingham. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. T.B. Strickland Jr. of Hartselle and the late Mr. and Mrs. Theo J. McKee.
The wedding will be June 17 at the Carraway-Davie House in Birmingham.
Leguin, Kirby to wed June 10
Dana and Karen Leguin of Summerville, Ga., announce the engagement of their daughter, Carol Michelle Leguin, to Daniel Heath Kirby, son of Jeff and Melba Johnson of Hartselle and Jimmy and Brenda Kirby of Decatur.
The bride-elect is a 2000 graduate of Chattanooga High School and a 2004 graduate of the University of Georgia with a bachelor's of business administration degree in business management. She is employed with Pitcher &Associates LLC of Dothan. She is the granddaughter of Stan Arasmith, the late Cheri Arasmith, the late Donald Leguin, and the late Millie and Hiram Sargent.
The groom-elect is a 1997 graduate of Hartselle High School and a 2002 graduate of Troy University with a bachelor's of business administration degree in marketing.
He is an alumnus of Pi Kappa Phi fraternity.
He is employed with AmSouth Mortgage of Dothan. He is the grandson of Novalene McDowell of Hartselle, the late J.R. McDowell, and the late Forrest and Eva Kirby.
The wedding will be June 10 at Quail Creek Golf Resort.
