By Staff
Staff Reports, Hartselle Enquirer
A fine arts summer camp for students entering the first through fifth grades next fall will be conducted at the old F. E. Burleson Elementary School June 26-29 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day.
The event will be sponsored by Hartselle's Fine Arts Committee with Amy Golden and Lisa King serving as co-chairpersons. Instructors will be Rose Dean, art; Debbie Queen, music; Laura Russell, dance; and Christie Kirschnick, drama.
Students enrolling before the end of school will pay a $75 fee each. A fee of $85 will be in effect for those who register later and a $10 discount will be offered for each additional child in a family who registers. The camp will be limited to 60 participants.
"We're excited about being able to offer basic fine arts education in a camp setting," Golden stated. "We welcome the assistance of volunteers and donations of supplies."
If you are interested in helping out or need additional information, contact Golden at 654-8529 or King at 612-7608.
