Edge, Edwards to wed May 19
Nancy Self Edge and Michael Edge, both of Hartselle, announce the engagement of their daughter, Lorra Bethany Edge, to Christopher Andrew Edwards, son of Dona Benner of Vinemont and William Edwards of Frederick, Md.
The bride-elect is a 2003 graduate of Hartselle High School and currently attends Calhoun Community College. She is employed with Movie Gallery.
She is the granddaughter of Billie Self of Hartselle, the late Pack Self, and the late Wilbur and Dean Edge.
The groom-elect attended A.P. Brewer High School and is enlisted with the United States Army. He is the grandson of Julia Edwards of New Bern, N.C., the late Elwood Edwards, and the late Irvin and Ruth Benner. The wedding will be held May 19 at 7 p.m. at Longview Church of God.
Steele, Wallace to wed May 20
Archie and Cindy Steele of Hilton Head, S.C. announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashlee Nicole Steele, to James Samuel Wallace Jr., son of the Rev. Sammy and Debra Wallace of Sheffield.
The bride-elect is a 2000 graduate of New Smyrna Beach High School, attended the University of South Florida, and attends the University of North Alabama. She is employed with Walgreen's Pharmacy.
She is the granddaughter of Helen and Andrew W. Taylor of Hartselle, Bessie Steele of Sheffield, the late David Robentson, and the late Forrest Steele.
The groom-elect is a 2000 graduate of Phil Campbell High School and attended Northwest Shoals Community College. He is employed with Hibbett Sporting Goods as a manager. He is the grandson of Jim and Barbara Scoggins of Tuscumbia, Faye and Ed Marston of Littleville, and the late Harvey Wallace.
The wedding will be held May 20 at 2 p.m. at Terrace Baptist Church in Sheffield.
