Wilson, Godby to wed June 3
Mr. and Mrs. Gregory James Wilson of Birmingham announce the engagement of their daughter, Jamie Christine Wilson, to Timothy Neil Godby, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gary Godby of Somerset, Ky.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Forsyth Central High School and Auburn University with bachelor's and master's degrees in education. She is employed as a business education teacher at Dunwoody High School of Dunwoody, Ga. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Reaford B. Williams of Hartselle, Mr. and Mrs. Alva Nix of Grant, and the late James Wilson of Dadeville.
The groom-elect is a graduate of Somerset High School, Berea College with a bachelor's degree, and Eastern Kentucky University with a master's degree in education. He is employed as a health and physical education teacher at Northwestern Middle School in Alpharetta, Ga.
He is the grandson of Yvette Soucy of New Brunswick, Canada, Edith Godby of Somerset, Ky., the late Oneil Soucy and the late Ned Godby.
A private ceremony will be held June 3 at Primrose Cottage in Roswell, Ga.
