Offensively, the big hit came from Whitney Eaves in the bottom of the third inning. Eaves hit a two-RBI triple that put Falkville ahead of its opponent by the score of 2-1. The game-winning RBI came on Katrina Wildmon's groundout that scored Eaves from third base.
Story had a two-RBI triple of her own in the sixth inning, an inning where Falkville took advantage of four Holly Pond errors to break the game wide open. The Lady Devils scored six runs that inning, but just two were earned.
Story, Eaves and Ashlie Mayer each scored two runs. Wildmon, Nikki Hale and Katie Annerton also scored a run each.
