Lady Hawks clobber West Point in Monday game

Brittany Atkins struck out seven and allowed four hits as Danville moved past West Point and improved to 18-7 for the season.
Atkins also pitched in at the plate, finishing with two singles. Kristen Sparkman had two singles and an RBI and Kristen Thompson had a triple. Kassie Cowart and Nicole Linderman also finished with two single.
Wilson was the offensive force for the Lady Hawks, finishing with two singles, a triple, two stolen bases and four runs.

Falkville pitchers walked 14 batters and Fairview left the bases loaded five different times as the Lady Aggies squeaked past the Lady Blue Devils.
Ashlie Mayer finished with two hits and an RBI and Katrina Wildmon added an RBI double and a single. Katie Ward finished with two hits including a double. Katelyn Smith finished with a 3-for-3 performance and hit an RBI triple.

Kristen Thompson struck out seven batters Thursday as the Lady Hawks improved to 15-7. Thompson also had a double in the game. Charleston Wilson doubles and singled for Danville and Kristen Sparkman added a single.

Thompson took the win on the mound and had a single and double at the plate. Bethany Evans added two singles and Kassie Cowart, Brittany Atkins and Haley Hensley each had singles.

Thompson was the victorious pitcher on the mound for the Lady Hawks, who improved to 17-7. Evans had a double and a single and Sparkman finished with three singles and a stolen base. Wilson added a single and stole a base and Breanna Callahan stole a base.
Falkville goes 1-2 at Athens Bible Tournament

In the semifinals of the Athens Bible Tournament, Falkville (8-12) dropped its second game to Woodville. Ashlie Mayer took the loss, pitching five innings and allowing nine hits and 10 earned runs. At the plate, Savannah Story was 2-for-2 with two RBIs, a double and a triple. Katie Ward finished with an RBI double.

The Lady Blue Devils picked up their first win of the tournament against Butler and it was a team effort. Mayer pitched the first two innings and Katie Annerton pitched the last two, with neither pitcher allowing a hit to the Butler offense.
Whitney Eaves finished 2-for-4 with two RBIs, Katrina Wildmon was 3-for-3 with three RBIs and a double and Katie Ward had an RBI double. Nikki Hale added an RBI and two singles and Annerton pitched in with three RBIs, a single and a home run.
Woodville 10
Falkville 1
Sarah Champion had a rough time on the mound, allowing 10 runs and 11 hits while striking out two. Falkville managed just four hits off Woodville pitching.
Story finished with two singles and the only RBI, Ward had a single and Wildmon finished with a double.
