Hardin, Anderson to wed June 3
Mr. and Mrs. James William Steele of Falkville and Mr. and Mrs. Frankie Glenn Hardin of Decatur announce the engagement of their daughter, Shannon Nicole Hardin of Falkville, to Stanley Jasen Anderson of Decatur, son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Morris Anderson of Decatur.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Falkville High School and Athens State University. She is employed with Morgan County Schools as a fifth grade teacher at Danville Middle School.
She is the granddaughter of Jewel Hardin Johns of West Point, Mr. and Mrs. Billy Gene Eddy of Hartselle, Nell Steele of Falkville, the late Warren Hardin and the late Olan Steele.
The groom-elect is a graduate of Austin High School and The University of Alabama. He is employed with Nashville Dental Inc. as an account representative. He is a member of Sigma Chi fraternity. He is the grandson of the late Roy William and Grace Anderson and the late Herman and Edna Hagood.
The wedding will be held June 3 at 4 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Falkville.
Owens, Blanton to wed July 29
Krysti Owens and Shane Blanton announce their engagement.
Owens is the daughter of Merlene Owens of Elba and the late Billy P. Owens. Blanton is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Billy R. Farris of Elba and Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Blanton of Cullman.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Elba High School and attended Enterprise State Junior College and Troy University.
She is employed with Old Ivy dental of Atlanta as a patient coordinator and dental assistant.
She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thaniel Carr and the late Mr. and Mrs. Percy V. Owens.
The groom-elect is a graduate of Elba High School and The University of Alabama with a degree in marketing. He served eight years in the Army National Guard as a combat engineer and is employed with REKEEP, Inc. of Atlanta. He is the grandson of Dr. and Mrs. Harold Blanton of Cullman, Anna Mae Crow of Hartselle, the late Curtis Crow and the late Eloise Blanton.
The wedding will be held July 29 at 6:30 p.m. at Hatcher Valley Farm in Elba.
