Hartselle Enquirer

Progress 2006

By Staff
This special edition of the Hartselle Enquirer has its eye on the future.
"Stairsteps to the Future" highlights some of the area's most outstanding young people. In this section, we will introduce you to people like Brewer High School senior Cory Samz (R). Samz wants to work in the medical field one day. In the meantime, he works at a fast food restaurant and a hospital, all the while juggling high school and college courses. Other featured students include (Below, L-R) Tiffany Harris, a senior at Hartselle High School who hopes to be a pharmacist one day; F. E. Burleson's kindergartner Grant Wallace, who pledges to show off his shoelaces when he hits the age of 90; Tiffany Pittman, a fourth grader at Crestline Elementary School who is winning honors through swimming; and Alex Pettey, a sixth grader at Hartselle Junior High School, who is sorting through career plans while excelling at art. Also in this edition is a special feature on plans for the future from Hartselle High School seniors and, on the opposite end of the spectrum, career goals from kindergartners in every city school.
We hope you enjoy them all!
