Harris, Cameron exchange vows
Jennifer LeeAnn Harris and Jeffrey Scott Cameron, both of Hartselle, were wed Feb. 4, 2006, at Tunsel Road Baptist Church with Pastor Ralph Henderson officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Douglas Wayne Harris of Hartselle and Jenny Honea of Tallahoma, Tenn. The groom is the son of David and Sandie Cameron of Hartselle.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a designer gown of diamond white chiffon. Her strapless one-piece lace-up gown featured an asymmetrical gathering at the waist with a magnificent beaded sweetheart neckline. The dress fell to an exquisite chapel length train. Her illusion veil flowed from a rhinestone crystal tiara to a scalloped beaded edge. Her bouquet featured white roses and calla lilies.
Tiffany Harris of Hartselle was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Kirby Harris and Meagan Brinkley, both of Hartselle. They wore satin blue strapless dresses each with a white chiffon sash and rhinestone broach.
Kalie Corbet and Cierea Widner, both of Hartselle, were flower girls. Judd Baker of Falkville was ring bearer.
David Joseph Cameron of Hartselle, brother of the bride, was best man. Groomsmen were Nick Bates and Cody Pump.
Ushers were Payton Harris of Hartselle, J.R. Atkins and Lee Johnson, both of Tallahoma, Tenn. Payton Harris and Lee Johnson also served as candlelighters.
Music was provided by Debbie Bailey of Decatur, Kris Staudt of Hartselle, and Zac Ghrigsby.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the fellowship hall.
The bride's table was draped in a white linen tablecloth featuring lace overlay, white daisies, double hearts and swans.
The groom's table featured a variety of cheesecakes with chocolate covered strawberries.
Diane Sybert, Beth Corbet, cousin of the bride, Willadean Garrison, Joyce Johnson, Teresa Cameron, Shelia St. John and Susie Kennedy assisted with the reception.
Brittany Cameron of Hartselle attended the bride's book.
The couple honeymooned at Doublehead Resort. They are active U.S. Marines.
A rehearsal party hosted by the groom's parents was held at Tunsel Road Baptist Church in the fellowship hall.
Ray, Holmes exchange vows
Emily Suzanne Ray of Portland, Texas and Zackery Bray Holmes of Falkville were wed Dec. 31, 2005, at 2 p.m. at Portland Church of Christ with HD Simmons officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Terri Ray of Portland, Texas and the late Delane Ray. The groom is the son of Glenn and Lisa Holmes of Falkville.
The bride was given in marriage by her brother, Chip Ray.
Katy McCoy of Portland, Texas was matron of honor.
Bridal attendants were Jules Wyatt of Kennadale, Texas, Lindsey Holmes of Falkville, Holly Baker of Emory, Texas and Stacy Lynn French of Dallas, Texas.
The father of the groom was best man.
Groomsmen were Jarrod Alldredge of Hartselle, Rand Harris of Tuscaloosa, Cody McCoy and Chip Ray, both of Portland, Texas.
The couple honeymooned in San Antonio, Texas. They reside in Portland, Texas.
A rehearsal party hosted by the groom's parents was held Dec. 20 at Water Street Company.
A bridal luncheon hosted by Sheila Morgan, grandmother of the bride, was held Dec. 30 at Olive Garden.
