Mary Paul Dean Waldrop

Funeral for Mary Paul Dean Waldrop, 82, of Hartselle was Tuesday, Feb. 7, at 1 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Hartselle with the Rev. Jeff Redmond officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in Hopewell Cemetery in Hanceville.
Mrs. Waldrop died Saturday, Feb. 4, 2006, at Hartselle Medical Center. She was born Feb. 3, 1924, in Cullman County to John E. Dean and Eva E. Barnett Dean. She was retired from Farmers Home Administration as an administrative clerk. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Hartselle where she was active in the senior adult ministry. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom G. Waldrop.
She is survived by two sons, George R. Waldrop and wife Patricia of Prattville and Timothy P. Waldrop of Hartselle; a daughter, Judith Woodcock and husband Dearl of Greenwood, Miss.; a brother, John Donald Dean and wife Loretta of Gulf Shores; two sisters, Mabel Pfleger of Birmingham and Betty Hargrove and husband Charles of Trussville; two grandchildren, Wade Waldrop and wife Kimberly of Chelsea and Laura Waldrop of Birmingham; and many wonderful nieces, nephews and in-laws.
Pallbearers were friends and relatives.
Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Hartselle Building Fund, Alabama Baptist Children's Village or to the charity of your choice.
