Coy C. Turrentine

Funeral for Coy C. Turrentine, 78, of Vinemont was Friday, Jan. 13, at 2 p.m. at Andrews Chapel Church with the Revs. James Toone, Homer Jones and Roger Aldridge officiating.
Burial was in Andrews Chapel Cemetery.
Mr. Turrentine died Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2006, at his residence. He was born Jan. 27, 1927, in Morgan County to James Turrentine and Ruthie Hart Turrentine. He was a farmer and cattle trader. He was a lifelong member of Pleasant View Holy Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife, Martha Turrentine of Vinemont; two sons, Conrad Turrentine and wife Elizabeth and Donnie Turrentine and wife Tracey, all of Vinemont; a daughter, Clara Asherbranner and husband Willard of Falkville; a sister, Lorene Hogan of Vinemont; three granddaughters, Amy Asherbranner and Chrissy Turrentine, both of Falkville and Natasha McClellan and husband Ian of Vinemont; a great-granddaughter, Carl McClellan; and a step-grandson, Chris England of Vinemont.
Pallbearers were James Turrentine, Ronnie Turrentine, Brandon Turrentine, Lynn Kilpatrick, Tim Looney, Roy Johnson, Waylan Turrentine and Fred Buttons.
