Funeral for Glen Plemons, 73, of Hartselle will be Saturday, Dec. 17, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Harold Brown officiating.
Burial will be in New Center Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Plemons died Monday, Dec. 12, 2005, at Cogburn Healthcare and Rehab Center in Huntsville. He was born Dec. 19, 1931, in Morgan Country to Virgil Noah Plemons and Azubah Lula Speegle Plemons. He was a member of New Center Baptist Church and a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War. He was preceded in death by a son, Wayne Plemons.
He is survived by a step-son, Donnie Clifton of California; five daughters, Tammy Plemons and Tempest Plemons, both of Arizona, Tabby Register and Teresa Kelly, both of California and Cynthia Plemons of Huntsville; a step-daughter, Janice Clemenson of California; two brothers, Horace Plemons and Harold Plemons, both of Hartselle; a sister, Faye Ballentine of Decatur; 15 grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be grandsons and nephews.
