Marlon Ratliff Brown

Funeral for Marion Ratliff Brown, 79, of Danville was Friday, Nov. 18, at 3:30 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel with Michael Moats and Dr. Milan Dekich officiating.
Burial was in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mr. Brown died Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2005, at his residence. He was born Oct. 29, 1926, in Morgan County to David Marion Brown and Betty Viola Brown. He was a pipefitter for Local No. 377. He was a member of Upton Chapel United Methodist Church and a member of Danville Masonic Lodge No. 95 where he served as secretary for 25 years and Plumbers Union Local No. 377 for 51 years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Bolan Brown; and a sister, Olene Harris.
He is survived by a daughter, Becky Terry and husband Ricky of Hatton; two granddaughters, Andrea Brown and husband Andy and Amanda Clark George and husband Shane, all of Danville; one great-grandson, Cason Brown of Danville; and two brothers, Rayburn Brown and wife Barbara Nell and Morris Doyle Brown and wife Betty Jo, all of Danville.
Pallbearers were Mahlon Brown, Kevin Brown, Stoney Bolan, Joe Bolan, Neal Archer, Lamar Brown, Dale Long and Glenn Bolan.
