Faye Nell Summerford Colquitt

Funeral for Faye Nell Summerford Colquitt, 77, of Hartselle will be Friday, Oct. 28, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ricky Hughes and Pastor George Sawyer officiating.
Burial will be in Johnson Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Colquitt died Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2005, at her residence. She was born Nov. 26, 1927, in Morgan County to William Joe Summerford Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Royer Summerford. She was a member of Calvary Assembly of God Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Edward Colquitt; a son, John Wayne Colquitt; a son-in-law, James A. Brown; a grandson, Thomas Ray Brown; four brothers, Ennis A. Summerford, John Harris Summerford, James Howard Summerford, William Joe Summerford Jr.; a sister, Mable Summerford; and a sister-in-law, Mary Lou Childers Summerford.
She is survived by two daughters, Patricia Brown and husband Jack of Hartselle and Myra Gail Brown of Decatur; four grandchildren, Eugene Brown, Timothy Brown, Jason Brown and Stacy Brown; two great-grandchildren, Christina Brown and Jason Brown Jr.; two sisters-in-law, Shirley Summerford Shelton of Forest Park, Ill. and Lola Cash Summerford of Falkville.
Pallbearers will be Chris Cody, Brian McQueen, Jake Lowery, Ronald Wilbanks, David Locklayer and Larry Linning.
Honorary pallbearers will be the pastoral and office staff of Calvary Assembly of God.
