Jeff, McFee to wed Oct. 15
Mr. and Mrs. David Jeff of Birmingham announce the engagement of their daughter, Laura Marie Jeff, to John Kaywood McFee III, son of Mr. and Mrs. John McFee Jr. of Hartselle.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Homewood High School and a cum laude graduate of The University of Alabama with a degree in interior design. At UA, she was a member of ODK, Mortar Board, and president of Alpha Chi Omega sorority.
She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roy K. Dawson and Mrs. Herbert Jeff, all of Birmingham, and the late Mr. Herbert Jeff.
The groom-elect is a graduate of Hartselle High School and Auburn University with a degree in chemical engineering and a minor in business. He is employed as a chemical engineer with International Paper of Prattville.
He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. G.C. McCall Jr. of Brentwood, Tenn., Mrs. John McFee Sr. of Baltimore, Md., and the late Mr. John McFee Sr.
The wedding will be held Oct. 15 at Trinity United Methodist Church of Birmingham.
Aycock, Green to wed April 8
Mr. and James Malcom Aycock of Hartselle announce the engagement of their daughter, Amy Irene Aycock of Birmingham, to Jerry Trent Green of Birmingham, son of Maj. Gen. and Mrs. Ronald Spivey of Alexander City and the late Jerry Woodrow Green.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Hartselle High School, Samford University with a bachelor's degree in nursing, and the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a master's degree in nursing anesthesia. She was a member of Phi Mu sorority.
She is employed with Anesthesia Services of Birmingham as a nurse anesthetist.
She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Roy Neill Aycock of Hartselle, the late Mr. Roy Neill Aycock, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Emmett Ratliff Barkley Jr.
The groom-elect is a graduate of Benjamin Russell High School and The University of Alabama with a professional designation of certified treasury professional.
He is employed by Regions Bank of Birmingham as vice president of private banking. He was a member of Alpha Tau Omega fraternity.
He is the grandson of Mrs. Woodrow Wilson Green of Greenville, Mrs. Doyce Shanks of Georgiana, the late Mr. Woodrow Wilson Green and the late Mr. and Mrs. Rufus Edward Shanks.
The wedding will be held April 8, 2006 at 6 p.m. at Reid Chapel on the campus of Samford University in Birmingham.
