Gary Wayne Cartee

Funeral for Gary Wayne Cartee, 57, of Hartselle was Tuesday, Oct. 4, at 2 p.m. at Cedar Creek Free Will Baptist Church with the Revs. Larry McElroy and Ronnie Bullard officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in the adjoining cemetery.
Mr. Cartee died Saturday, Oct. 1, 2005, at his residence. He was born Feb. 16, 1948, in Morgan County to William Kirby Cartee and Mary Louise Lee Austin Cartee. A 1966 graduate of Austin High School, he worked at Saturn, Saginaw, Hartselle Wal-Mart, and was shop manager for 16 years at Peek Olds-Cadillac. He was a member of the United Automobile Workers. He attended Cedar Creek Free Will Baptist Church. He was preceded him in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Robbyn Brewer Cartee of Hartselle; two daughters, Erica N. Cartee of Massey and Heather M. Haggemaker of Athens; two brothers, Billy L. Cartee and Marion Lee Cartee; and two grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Benji Brewer, Jimmy Brewer, Steve Frye, John Silva, Bill Fuqua and Jerry McReath.
