Funeral for Ruth A. Evans, 68, of Falkville was Saturday, Sept. 10, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Pearl Jenkins officiating.
Burial was in Forrest Chapel Cemetery.
Mrs. Evans died Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2005, at Hartselle Medical Center. She was born Aug. 19, 1937, in Washington State to Albert Ford and Margaret Ford. She was a member of Roundtop Community Church. She was a very loving and caring mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by a son, Ernest Leroy Bush.
She is survived by two daughters, Cathy Blair of Louisville, Ky. and Billie Moore of Falkville; one stepdaughter, Mary McKee of Clanton; a brother, Vernon Ford of Pendleton, Ore.; a sister, Dorothy Sexton of Oregon; six grandchildren, Stephen Blair, Lisa Moore, Paula Plunkett, Michael McKee, Amanda McKee and Mark McKee; and four great-grandchildren, Nathan Hollingsworth, Emily Hollingsworth, Shelby Plunkett and Kaylor McKee.
Pallbearers were Stephen Blair, David Hollingsworth, Brandon Veal, Mark McKee, Michael McKee, Josh Plunkett and Aaron Smith.
