Tommy W. Clemons

A graveside service for Tommy W. Clemons, 90, of Hartselle was Tuesday, Aug. 16, at 11 a.m. at Shoal Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Lynn Harvel officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Clemons died Saturday, Aug. 13, 2005, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was a member of Shoal Creek Baptist Church. He owned and operated Clemons Service Station in Hartselle for more than 40 years. Mr. Clemons was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Novelee Riley Clemons and two grandchildren.
He is survived by four daughters, Roma Dean Hartman and husband Larry and Mary Sue Callahan, all of Hartselle, Shelby Jane Higdon and husband Cleo of Decatur and Patsy Jean Gilliand and husband Randy of Hartselle; one sister, Mary Bert Tapscott of Falkville; 14 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Bruce Hartman, Brian Hartman, Duston Steel, Keith Callahan, Kelvin Callahan and Chris Higdon.
Honorary pallbearers were Jim Roberts, Kevin Crawley, Tim Crump and David Stults.
Memorials may be made to the Shoal Creek Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
