Lester Stinson

Funeral for Lester Stinson, 79, of Falkville was Friday, Aug. 5, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Andrew Ball officiating.
Burial was in Cook Cemetery.
Mr. Stinson died Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2005, at Hartselle Medical Center. He was born Oct. 15, 1925, in Morgan County to Walter Stinson and Irene Morris Stinson. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Jeanette Stinson.
He is survived by four sons, Jon Stinson of Hartselle, Steve Stinson and Jeff Stinson, both of Falkville, and Michael Stinson of Cullman; one daughter, Patricia Long of Falkville; three brothers, Roy Wayne Stinson of Hartselle and Jimmy Stinson and Jake Stinson, both of Falkville; two sisters, Elaine Smith of Hartselle and Madilene Payne of Falkville; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Pallbearers were his grandsons.
Honorary pallbearers were his brothers.
