Edwina 'Eddie' R. Bauserman

A memorial service for Edwina "Eddie" R. Bauserman, 73, of Battle Creek, Mich., will be held today, July 28, at Newton United Methodist Church in Kalamazoo, Mich., with Shaw Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Bauserman died June 17, 2005, at Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo.
She was born April 9, 1932, in Danville to Robert and Elsie White McAbee. She was employed by the Kellogg Company for 30 years, retiring in 1990. She was a devoted quilter, belonging to the Cal-Co Quilters Guild and Ladies of the Lake Quilters Circle. She was named Quilter of the Year in 1994 by her peers from the guild. Mrs. Bauserman was also involved in the East Leroy 4-H Club for many years, Kalamazoo Valley Antique Engine Club, B.C. Chapter Local No. 3 of the American Federation Grain Millers Retirees since 1990, Newton Home Grange No.129, Kellogg 25-Year Club, Moose Lodge No. 676, and a lifetime international member of Beta Sigma Phi. She is survived by her husband, John Bauserman; her daughters, Cindy and husband Michael Clone of Eaton Rapids, Mich., Tammy Young of Norway, Mich. and Denise and husband Jeff Smith of Battle Creek; stepchildren, John and wife Shelly Bauserman and Jackie and husband Paul Anderson, both of Battle Creek; nine grandchildren, Rachel Clone, Meghan Anderson, Katie Rial, Connor, Chase, Noah and Hanna Bauserman, Sarah Anderson; and two great-grandchildren.
