D. Josephine 'Jo' Legg Tranter

Funeral for D. Josephine "Jo" Tranter, 56, of Huntsville was Tuesday, July 26, at 11 a.m. at Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bruce Shoemake officiating.
Burial was in Hartselle City Cemetery.
Mrs. Tranter died Friday, July 22, 2005, at Huntsville Hospital. She was operations manager for Limestone County 911.
She is survived by her husband, David V. Tranter of Huntsville; two sons, Greg James and Ken James, both of Lakeland, Fla.; a daughter, Heather Jones of Huntsville; two brothers, Charles Legg and Billy Wayne Legg, both of Huntsville; four sisters, Beatrice Green of Decatur, Linda Parker and Faye Legg, both of Hartselle, and Jean Clay of Jacksonville; six grandchildren, Amber James, Courtney James, Alex James and Joshua James, all of Lakeland, and Zachary Jones and Hannah Jones, both of Huntsville.
