Cleo Humphries Pruett

Funeral for Cleo Humphries Pruett, 84, of Hartselle was Thursday, July 14, at 10 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Greg Alred and Billy Gable officiating.
Burial was in Ebenezer Cemetery in Cullman County.
Mrs. Pruett died Tuesday, July 12, 2005, at her residence. She was born Sept. 21, 1920, in Cullman to James Allen Humphries and Katie Sheats Humphries. She and her husband operated businesses in Hartselle and Falkville for 40 years. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church for 45 years. Mrs. Pruett was preceded in death by her husband, Dayton T. Pruett; and one son, James Keith Pruett.
She is survived by one granddaughter, Nina Brooke Pruett; one grandson, James Blake Pruett; one sister, Novell Wynn; one niece, Brenda Perry and family; and two nephews, Stephen Humphries and Jimmy Humphries and their families.
Pallbearers were Larry Neal Buckelew, Marlon Tapscott, Joe Murphy, Wayne Tapscott, Britt Murphy and Tim Sivley.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Cullman County.
